Why does God have an evil Spirit! God does not have an evil Spirit in the sense of being immoral as God himself is good and holy!
Lu 18:19 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God.
1Pe 1:16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
Most people think of evil only in the sense of wicked and immoral, but evil is more than immorality as evil is natural or moral. Natural evil is anything which produces pain, distress, loss or calamity, or which in any way disturbs the peace, impairs the happiness, or destroys the perfection of natural beings. Moral evil is any deviation of a moral agent from the rules of conduct prescribed to him by God, or by legitimate human authority; or it is any violation of the plain principles of justice and rectitude. However because the Lord is the Almighty, the creator God he takes full and complete responsibility for his entire creation.
Isa 45:6 That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else.
Isa 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Who is responsible for the tree of the knowledge of good and evil? The creator of the tree of good and evil was God!
Ge 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
In his goodness and holiness God uses all things for his purpose.
Jer 26:3 If so be they will hearken, and turn every man from his evil way, that I may repent me of the evil, which I purpose to do unto them because of the evil of their doings.
Many times evil things in our life can become for our good if we love the Lord and called according to his purpose!
Ro 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. God can allow evil to go to a man without being evil himself!
Hear the lord sends a morally evil spirit since it is a lying spirit to the false prophets to persuade Ahab to go to Ramothgilead.
1Ki 22:20 And the LORD said, Who shall persuade Ahab, that he may go up and fall at Ramothgilead? And one said on this manner, and another said on that manner. 21 And there came forth a spirit, and stood before the LORD, and said, I will persuade him. 22 And the LORD said unto him, Wherewith? so. 23 Now therefore, behold, the LORD hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these thy prophets, and the LORD hath spoken evil concerning thee.
