d.      That sin brings death.     Romans 6:23            Romans 5:12

                                                              i.      Physical death is a separating of the body and soul.   Gen 25:8

ii.      Spiritual death is a separation from the presence of God. Revelation 20:12-15

        e.     That the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.            Ephesian 2:1-10          John 10:24-30

John 11:25-26             I John 5:11-13

The gift of God is the substitution of his son for us, giving us His righteousness. Romans 10:1-3

                God?              Romans 10:8-13

IV.       It is faith generated by the hearing of God’s word that saves a lost soul.

            Romans 1:17   I Peter 1:23     James 1:18

V.        Conclusion

Regeneration is a spiritual act of God that quickens our spirit and the new birth is the creation of a new creature.    Eph. 2:1    II Cor 5:17
